Jordan Chez
Raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey, Jordan Chez got his start as a keyboardist playing iconic local venues like The Stone Pony and Wonder Bar—sharpening his chops on the same stages that helped shape the Jersey Shore sound. By 16, he was already spending his summers gigging up and down the coast, covering Springsteen tunes and chasing the buzz of a good crowd. After attending the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami, Jordan made the move to Nashville, where he’s putting the finishing touches on his debut EP “Chez Chez” (French for “at the home of Chez”—yes, he’s leaning in). A singer, songwriter, and keyboardist, Jordan’s sound lives somewhere between the smooth and the rowdy—where breezy, yacht rock-inspired melodies collide with flashes of heavier jams. It’s groove-forward and soul-leaning, but unafraid to get loud when the moment calls for it.The first three singles—“Tell Me Why,” “All Your Love,” and “Plans For Autumn”—are all out now, with the full EP dropping later this summer. Each track brings its own flavor, but they’re all rooted in a desire to groove, a passion for vibe, and a yearning for stoke.Outside the studio, Jordan’s passions include assembling IKEA furniture, insisting that people outside the tri-state area don’t know what good pizza is, using public transit, and the New York Mets. He’s currently accepting Spotify streams, playlist adds, and Instagram DMs with jokes or life advice (@realjordanchez).
